I’m a get-the-bad-news-out-of-the-way first kind of gal. That way you can spend more time talking about the good news afterward.
but doesn’t that take away the fun in good news?
Eh, I don’t think so. It’s like ripping off a band-aid. You get the bad part out first, then you can’t dwell on it. Keeping the good news fresh in the mind makes more of a lasting impression, at least it does to me.
