My name is Satya Murthy. I have been working in the Games, VFX and animation industry for over 12 yrs now. I did basics in design from National Institute of Design (1 yr). Worked as toy designer at Lego Toys, London; New media designer at Society for New and Old Media, Amsterdam; Animatronics Designer at Disney Imagineering, Burbank California; LOTR (Lord of the Rings Trology) – VFX and Animatronics, Founded the animation division at Satyam BPO and Chief Creative Officer of Gamehsatra Inc., India’s largest game development studio.
Guest Lectures/Design Training - I frequently do guest lectures at schools/universities which encourage design thinking focussed at game development and animation. I also consult for media companies which are looking to set foot into Asia – specifically into the entertainment and media business.
